Fertilization Report...

We have 4 left... Only 10 were actually mature, and only 4 survived overnight. I don't have anymore information. They said they'll go over the "what and why" on Thursday when we do the transfer.

Guess I'm in shock just a bit. They said that most likely we'll have a transfer on Thursday, but they will call me tomorrow with an update on the progress...

I just want to cry...

Even though there are still enough to transfer, by Thursday there may not be enough for us to do an FET if this doesn't work.

Oh honey I have been there. Crossing my fingers that all four are healthy on Thursday. Thinking of you.

Ugh, I know it's hard to stay positive with that kind of news, but if you can, try to focus on the good part - 4 lil' embies are raring to go!

Good luck on Thursday!!

My first IVF cycle there weren't enough to freeze, even though I made 14 eggs, which I thought was really great. It's one of the sucky things about PCOS, that your egg quality isn't always great, even though the quantity is fine.

Good luck for tomorrow!

Fingers crossed for Thursday. Stay focused on the end goal -- a healthy baby. Hugs.

I'm so sorry! I know the horrible disappointment of not being able to do any FETs. :( Big hugs to you and all four of them.

I am sorry. What a roller coaster this IF crap really is. We think 12 eggs are so great and then you get the smack in the face (punishment for feeling hopeful?) I just don't know. I wish there were more to say.

I have been there too. Focus on the four good ones. They were strong enough to make it this far and that is great! Did they say how many they'll transfer? All 4?

I'm so sorry. I hope those you have are good ones. This whole process just sucks. I'm just really sorry.

I will hope for those 4 to grow and divide into strong, healthy embryos.

I will also hope you won't need an FET.
